She makes original songs in English and hopes to make Japanese songs in the future.She makes music in a multitude of genres but specializes in indie pop, alternative rock, dream pop and shoegaze-y music.
Because the genre of music that she makes is hard to categorize she likes to call it "lo-fi rock".Her artist name sade comes from the Finnish word for rain.
